During my doctoral research, I focused on how anthropogenic forces impact the spatiotemporal habitat suitability of ticks in Arkansas, and the vulnerable populations of the state. I work in the Environmental GIS and Cartography Lab under Dr. Brad Peter.

I elected to concurrently complete a Master of Public Health program at the University of Arkansas Master to expand my public health toolkit to supplement my doctoral research.
I chose to focus in public health administration as an avenue to understand how public health policy and practices were evolving due to a changing climate. The core principals of a public administrator are ethics, leadership, fiscal responsibility, and equity.
From 2014-2018, I was enrolled as a student in Troy University's undergraduate psychology program. My interest at the time was in eco-anxiety and climate change. This research interest has guided my journey ever since.
